How do I relocate a thread I did not comment

I had to turn off my computer when it started to act up so I lost my topic log. I was on a thread I wanted to comment on but I could not find it when I got rebooted. It wasn't in watched,unread,topic log and of course my posts because I hadn't responded to it yet. I checked active topics and it wasn't there either. Is there a way to refind a thread? I can't remember the name of the thread so I can't search. :cry:

Hmm, if you remember the title, even partially, then try searching for it.
Alternatively, if you remember the user name of the person who created the topic, you could locate that user's profile and check his/her topic listing.
