Update to my We Might See a New Swan Family post

In late May, at the herring run in Barnstable Ma, I saw a swan sitting on a nest and shared some pics on the hedgehog.

When I went back to check on the nest, the nest was gone. And there was no sign of the adult swans. So I thought maybe they had babies and were hiding in the safety of the inlet (which is out of my view).

The next time I went back I saw the family and was able to take some shots before they disappeared back through the inlet.

I returned and the family was more accessible, but again it was awfully shiny outside. I got some ok shots, but I'm hoping I will get some better shots when I go back.

Very nice work in staying with this family. The next to last shot looks like mom has a leash on junior. Please keep us posted.

Thank you! I was so excited to see the new swans. Two years ago there was a single baby swan family at this location, and last year there was just one lonely adult swan (the baby from the year before?).

Thank you! The first pictures were taken from a distance and cropped. The swans were much closer for the last shots and I crouched down to get some better shots.
