I did pull her up on youdtube. I didn't find any of the spaghetti westerns. Too bad.

The question is, can you tell the difference?

I know what you mean. If I hear music from a speaker, I can't tell if it's recorded music or a live band playing. I bet that no one can.

They've done blind sound tests with Stradivarius violins and others, and no one can say for sure which one the musician is playing.

EDITED: That reminds me of a sound demo done by Bose. We stopped into a Bose store years ago, and the salesman invited us to hear a demo. There were two huge speakers on the sides of the room and another huge one in the center. The sound was fantastic! The salesman came back into the room and removed what we thought were speakers. They were dummies. Behind them were tiny Bose speakers. Just to prove that it wasn't a trick, he played more beautiful music through those tiny speakers. Actually, there were two small speakers and a small bass speaker.

That is cool and it requires work and practice. But the she is essentially driving a sound-effect computer.

I had two Frazier Mak VII speakers which were large and my wife didn't like them in the living room, so I got rid of them and replaced them with those Bose speakers. The Frazier speakers gave a big full sound. When I played Toccata and Fugue in D mino it sounded like a had an organ in the house. The Bose did sound good, but as soon as I switched to them I got tinnitus. Somehow the sound was produced differently. The integrated amp had its problems as well.

Partly! She played the organ part. Kinda like Karaoke you do have to perform your part along with other parts performed by the computer.
