I was rather underwhelmed, here in NH. I expected shimmering curtains of color dancing across the sky but all I got was what looked like high thin clouds with a pink or green tint. Others in NH posted much more vivid scenes so I guess it was luck if the draw as to what you got.

The camera picks up more color than the eye on these events , so next time don't pass up.

Here in Texas I would not have been able to see them even had they been bright. It was cloudy just like it was for me durng the eclipse ecently.

It’s been raining and cloudy here in southern pa for what seems like forever. Well at least since Tuesday night. It would have been nice to see.

Did anyone take photos of it?

I heard from friends in the Los Angeles area that they could see and photograph the Auroras. I saw nothing, fog and cloud cover here at Grover Beach, CA.

Made it down to central Texas. Lots of friends took great photos. I was camping without communication to the world and missed the whole event! Sometimes it pays to keep up with the “news”.

Posted by a friend on Facebook.

CBS on YouTube posted a picture taken at the Ashokan Reservoir, two miles from me.
