Yes, I'm sorry if anyone is tired of Snow Geese but the light and action warrants another set....

Credit to my loving and patient wife(she doesn't usually allow me to post her in my shots). Thank you, my love!!

1. My ever so patient, Genevieve. Her hair magically transforms in the light of the setting sun. Taken just before the explosion of Snow Geese taking to the air with inbound bogeys.

Nicely shot set. Bald Eagles are basically fishermen and carrion eaters but they seem to love to harass flocks of birds on the ground

They sure are, Jack! Opportunists from the word go! When need be they're quite skilled at snatching trout, salmon and any other fish that brave the top 12" of water in Washington.
It's always seemed odd to me that they allow crows to harass them and their young but seagulls become targets when demonstrating this same behavior...... It's almost as though they enjoy the tormenting of flocks, regardless of the size of individual birds, to no end!
