. . . do not always work out. This morning I went to our local lake for some morning light shots. I took the Sony A1, the big 600mm lens and a 1.4 tc. As I set up on the board walk, at my feet the morning breakfast buffet started. Of course, it was almost impossible to get the action with my "big time" array.
To the rescue, I balanced my array in one hand and used my iPhone to catch the breakfast action.

Thanks, Jack. I realize now that our little lake does not need more than the plain 600mm or maybe the 100-400 with a tc. You can be the judge after seeing tomorrow's post.
