Mounted on my Old D300
Focus distance approx. 1.5 inches @f11- iso200
Lighting: three Alien Bees @ lowest power setting
10 images at .0025" per slice
Processed: PSCC and Helicon Focus
I got my framing too tight at the start for .03" of movement

But I don't see any difference between the images using the D300 with the bellows or the D810 200 mm macro with ext. tubes

That worked nicely.

I have experimented with reverse mounting of 55mm, 50mm, 35mm, and 28mm lenses. But for the most part I have taken "macros" with 35mm, 50mm, and 100mm Macro Lenses. Sometimes I use extension tubes or even a bellows. The hardest part of high magnification photography is the lighting.

I noticed that about the lighting so I think for now I'll stick with my 200mm f4 macro.

Thanks for sharing the pair, Frank. Loved comparing the results of the two camera/lens combos.
