My question is if this AI created image could be sold as a photograph because the customer wouldn't care, then would it also be allowable simply to hand your camera over to a professional and say "Here, you take the picture, and I'll claim it as mine" After all what is the difference between a machine created image and one created by an individual when neither is yours and you don't acknowledge the truth about how the image came about. And as far as whether you call it an image, a photograph, a picture, a snap or whatever doesn't it come down to whether or not you created it or some computer technology did. I could lip synch Pavarotti, but this doesn't mean that I can sing opera.
