The two shots-#1 and #3- on the old chair were taken through two wire fences-the first about 20 feet away, the second about five feet past that, the bird another five feet or so. As I moved to be free of the fences, it flew off.

Thanx! Real characters in the woods. They gang up on owls, hawks, even ravens! Very loud, behaviors a kin to mockingbirds, if that helps.
