I like challenges when I photograph...be it light (low light), bad weather, noon-day sun etc. Here are a few photos that Ive taken while here in California.
In Central California, this building served as both scales for large bundles (hay, cotton, etc.) and as a small general store for beer, wine and cigarettes. The light created harsh shadows and made the photo difficult.
A Northern California harbor keeps the residents safe from the storms. A light fog had just begun to settle in.
Now for Southern California: San Diego skyline was captured at the very end of the "blue hour". Long exposure saturates the colors from the buildings.
