Anyway, I was going to do a Swiftian "Modest Proposal" joke about washing off the Apeel coating using some combination of various poisonous and noxious liquids, but then realized that someone out there might actually take me seriously and try it. That Safety Hazard notice is for an unrelated cleaning product that goes by the same name. People post wildly misleading claims without checking their veracity. The -product produced by Apeel Sciences, the one backed by Bill Gates, is unrelated to the rant and is safe.
