In this game I used the D500 a bit to much wanting to go beyond a good reach. Image quality suffers using a crop camera. Tomorrow's game softball I will use the D4 95% of the time.
The settings used here were 1/2500 at 2.8 with the Nikon 300 2.8, and 5.6 Nikon 200-500 on the Nikon D500.
Nice day but still a bit cold with a breeze.

Have to love real dirt and turf over the artificial stuff that I typically shoot at. I really like the front closeups of #2 (catcher) and #7 (pitcher) those are great for a frame. Nicely done again Jules!

Nice set. I really like the second shot with the catcher's eye checking the runner at third before firing the ball to second. At least that the story it seems to tell me.
