Hi Tom:
Nice stuff. Do you remember what settings you used to stop the action?

Hi Jules,

Thank You, Hope all is well with You. I saw your work, and as always most excellent.

I have not posted in awhile due to on going Health issues, terrible back, I don't get out as often as I wish.

I am sorry I neglected settings. The Baseball was with Nikon 70-200mm, Aperture wide open f2.8, shutter was 1/800 sec., iso 6,400.

Basketball with the Nikon 85mm f1.8 Aperture f2.8, shutter was 1/1000, iso was 5,000.

Take care.

Hi Tom:
So sorry to hear your not feeling good. The back is a serious problem. I am there too with that disc stuff no. 5 and 6 I think.
How do you like the 850?
Be well Tom,
Jules

Tom,
Great post, really liked the different photos in your series and take care of your back! Night games are so tough and you did well at freezing the action.

Nice photos Tom. Keep it up and keep posting when you can get out. Sorry to hear about your back problems. I used to think back problems were just a bunch of whiny people but 15 years ago my wife had back problems. Took them 3 months to finally figure out what was wrong. I never got any sleep, she hurt all the time, she had to sit most of the time. It would get so bad that I would have to rub her back and legs constantly. And she was in tremendous pain. They finally found a tumor and removed it. All was better. She still gets some pain every now and then (sciatica) pain, but much better. Sorry for the long rant. So I feel for anyone now that says they have back trouble. Thanks BE SAFE!!
