When Union Pacific donated its Heritage Fleet to Silvias IL, unit 401 ended up in Boone IA. My Husband is a volunteer there in the shops so he may be working on it at some point. This is his picture.

What a great project that will be. Out of curiosity who would finance such a project?

It's an EMD F7A...built in 1949.

Before going to UPRR (C&NW merged with UPRR in 1995) #401 was used by Chicago & Northwestern to pull their executive train.
