Reading UHH one might think that all delivery services are unreliable, horrible, untrustworthy and a bane to humanity.

So which one is none of those?

I think we've all had some sort of delivery calamity, but these companies deliver millions of packages every day, and it is amazing what a damned good job they do.

And I'd bet it isn't a photography issue, even though cameras are one of the many things that get delevered.
Looks like a "Chit Chat" topic, as all the UHH members will be listing their late deliveries.

Not all delivery services are bad but in some areas some are worse than others. In my area USPS is unreliable. If you read what I wrote in another post today I told of a USPS worker who stole a package from a porch that had been delivered by another delivery service. She was caught on camera. She should have been fired but was moved to a different route instead. What does that say about the USPS system?
Amazon Delivery in my area is very good, Fed Ex and UPS are excellent. It's frustrating when you have to be concerned about getting your mail and packages. My medicines come through USPS and there have been issues.
If all your delivery services are good consider yourself lucky; one day they may not be.

Today we depend so much on the delivery services and thus we encounter more problems and hear more about them.
I think it depends a lot on where you live. I have personally experienced, more than once, UPS drivers, not knocking only once knock, but then immediately leaving, also leaving a note that says "last attempt" on the first attempt. I have experienced companies leaving "signature required" packages on the porch without asking for a signature. Leaving packages on the porch in plain sight rather than walking 50' to the back, etc.

I guess it depends on what part of the country you live in. I live in Central New Jersey and purchase virtually everything online. I get multiple deliveries every week from UPS, USPS, FedEx, and Amazon. I can't recall the last time I have had a delivery problem with any of them. It's been years.

They are, but only about 1% of the time.
