We drove over to Circle Bar B Reserve earlier this week to see what was happening. Circle Bar B is home to Gatozilla, a huge gator seen numerous times crossing the trails (can be seen by googling it.) I keep hoping I'll see it one day but did see an 8–9-footer crossing one of the trails. It was 40 degrees on arrival but warmed up quickly. Lots of hikers, families and especially photographers, some with lenses so large they should have been using a small hand cart
Absolutely gorgeous day but it was rather quiet, not many migratory birds around.
Anyway, great hike around the lakes and canals...here are a few of the local critters that inhabit full time....Cheers
Well done! We can't go there because they don't allow dogs! Can't leave the puppy behind!
Excellent set! I love the twofer.
what is the bird on the same branch as the green heron?

Thanks and I understand Chief, saw the signs for no pets but since they have so many gators, and extremely large ones, plus bobcats and other critters, it might not be wise to have pets running around....Cheers

Much appreciated Frank....Cheers.
Nice photos! I was there last week and agree about the dearth of birds compared to previous years. We've had very little rain this winter and I wonder if that has anything to do with it.
