Microsoft's Bing AI threatens users who provoke it.
It is nasty. It can control and destroy your life.
It's like the book 1984.
MS trying hard to move you to MS 11 and Edge ?
This Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning thing is increasingly interesting as it approaches a consumer level. Adobe has been helping us photographers with improved object removal and color grading for awhile. They call it "Sensei" technology. A few days ago the released "Firefly" in a beta mode. Topaz has been making strides with "Photo AI" that finds a way to add pixels where needed.
Why are we alarmed to see AI putting words together? Google's Bard, Microsoft's Bing, and ChatGPT seem to cause more alarm than when AI is used in photography tools.

Like any new technology it wild be used to enhance our lives, make our lives easier, and for nefarious purposes.
Regarding Adobe's Sensei, I like it. ;) It helps the computer help me, and reduces the time I need to spend on a drugery task like selection.
Just like other things that are invented, it depends on how they are used.
For good, or bad.

So Bing signed into his UHH account and used it to threaten all of us?
It's been argued that the worst modern invention is...air travel.
Yes, I've seen examples of that posted. It's like a sci-fi movie. They had to make changes. They're training software to think like a human. Of course it's going to be mean and aggressive.

Ordinarily, that's true. In the case of AI, it does the thinking and deciding. It's going to be difficult to keep humans in control of a machine that thinks and learns on its own.
