It was way to windy yesterday but today had lulls but still a breeze making sharp focus focus impossible
But due to forecast of possible T/Storms tonight and tomorrow I took what Mother Nature gave me and did the best I could.I think there is one flower that is sharp!!

Nice work, Frank. It's really windy here, too.

You can't fight mother nature but you seemed to do OK!
Thank you bcheary
I just wait til she gets the wad out of her knickers, easy to do do when it's not raining or real cold
Hey, Frank. I used to do some macro in film. Medium format with a Bellows believe it or not. For outdoor work I used to have two sheets of plexiglass about 3x3 feet taped together along one side each so flexible to fold together for transport. Pulled apart at the un-taped edges to about 45 degrees or so they were self standing and blocked the wind without blocking the light. If I pointed the taped edges into the wind, it was pretty steady in anything short of a gale!
Just sort of a way to get the wad out of her knickers whether she was ready or not!

Thank you Chief
I tried a lot of things to block the wind over the years, I have a foldable light tent with a removable floor that works great, but these blooms are right at the edge of a ditch making it impossible to use the tent without someone to hold in place.
Waiting for a lull in the breeze isn't a big deal but trying. for multiple shots was not and option.
I like the metallic glow of photo #2 is that real or a modification?
Did you use the flash during the day to accommodate a fast shutter to suppress the background daylight?
A fast shutter eliminates gusting wind problems.
