Robin Williams did a song about the Taco Bell dog. It was called I Ran Over the Taco Bell Dog. Really funny. Taco was also featured in a TV commercial when Godzilla was revisited. He's sitting by a box trap going "Here lizard, lizard, lizard. We have one that says just that.
