Sharpshooter Leafhopper

This is my preserved sharpshooter leafhopper. They are quite an environmental terrorist so they are not one of the good guys.

I staged this session using the Fujifilm X-T20 mirrorless camera mounted on a bellow. On the end of the bellows is a "reverse-mounted" Raynox DCR150 and the length of the extension was adjusted to focus the Raynox to infinity. On to that is a "reverse-mounted" 50mm enlarger lens. Thus, there is an extension with two lenses connected in series with each other. A mauve paint sample swatch was placed behind the specimen to create the background color.

This session consists of a stack of 235 images which was processed in Zerene Stacker to produce the image posted.

I posted this in the Photogallery Forum for those that do not subscribe to the True Macro Photography Forum.
