I just got a Pixel 7 Pro, and it takes great shots. When I walk around with my camera, I usually have a Sigma 150-600mm, and it gets really heavy after an hour - even though it only about six-seven pounds. So you are correct. I always love seeing your choice of subjects

Thanks Joe. My days of 600 mm lens are over. I splurged and purchased a Leica Q2, one of my smarter moves. I can carry it with me on long outings and last all day. My ability to wear a backpack with multiple lens is sadly behind me ( literally and figuratively).

It haas been a week of weather extremes. Monday-Tuesday a blizzard, then warm. Today beautiful. First the blizzard and (we live 2 houses up from where I took the blizzard pix) The remaining images are from a coastal walking route about an hour from our house.

...super examples of the wonderland you live in! (pg 1)

An area dentist there collected cars, and then upon his retirement, built a museum and gave it to the county. Not a lot of cars, but about twenty real gems 🏆 He also has a world-class gun collection, said to be one of the top five on the planet

The county is very lucky to have a generous benefactor as a resident. Beautiful car!

Too cold today to go outside and get a better pic of anything. My plants are very thankful to stay inside right now. 25 degrees with wind today, but the forecast is lower 70's later this week.

They do look so happy. Nicely displayed too.

...once upon a time, 1971 to be exact, I had my first SLR and was having fun putting the needle in the middle and hoping to get focus. I flew these little guys and this shot is an "end of day" at the flightline. I've done a couple of treatments while reprocessing slide scans and decided to pick this one up again and print it out. ;0)

Irresistible lines - heart shaped and what's not to love about a Becker.

Wow! What a collection! Each image is wonderful! Each shows a bit of isolation and quiet time to reflect a different but similar story. Well done!

Thank you, Robert...

Unfortunately, I have also reached that category - however, I do have a pushcart (dune buggy for the sand) which holds my gear, a tripod and liquid, snacks etc. and enables me to be out shooting much longer.

What ever it takes. Brava to all of us that used whatever it takes to get out there and shoot.
