Another great shot from you. I always wondered what a photo along that lava dike would look like. My thought for a shot was different from yours. But at least now I have an idea of what can be done. Hopefully I will get back there some day. You always seem to be at these spots when there is great weather to highlight the photo. I don't know how you do it. I seem to be at these spots when it is a bald sky at high noon. C'est la vie. Again, another great shot you are sharing with all of us.

Great shots! I would love to go back there some day it is an awe inspiring place. I remember the first time I saw it was from the balcony of the hotel inside the Mesa Verde National Park which was miles away from it. Just incredible, I feel the first shot really captures it.

Someone else has already written what I was thinking. That is the best picture of Shiprock I have ever seen. My work has provided me the opportunity to view Shiprock and Windowrock.
