Imagine going to a dentist and asking him if he should do work on your teeth or just send you home without a bill. That's like the car dealer that offers a free twenty-point inspection. You know he is going to find "necessary" repairs that aren't free. That happened to an elderly woman I knew. She insisted that I bring her car for this free inspection. Naturally, the dealer found bad brakes, bad exhaust, etc. That free inspection cost her hundreds of dollars.

If the fillings are recent ...no.
If the fillings are from your youth...you betcha you have mercury.
They mix the mercury in with the silver...used to anyway.
