DxO PureRAW 3 came out today for $129 or $79 upgrade from version 2.
It will process all three Nikon Z9 raw file types!
It's AI based and really does a great job on noise.

It also added support for DeepPRIME XD noise reduction for Fuji x-trans sensors.

It does not work for me.

According to the DXO site, PureRAW 3 will NOT support Nikon Z9 High Efficiency RAW files. That feature will come in later editions.

The images do not look as good as Topaz products.

That statement was for version 2.

I am sure you are correct. The DXO website link I have used from the Version3 user manual does not show any info for version 3 yet that I can find. When you click on cameras and models for compatibility it shows info per version 2.

I just used DXO PL6 and it prompted me to download the latest version which will process Nikon High Efficiency RAW files. If you are a user of DXO PL Elite, make sure you download version 6.4.0. This probably applies to the Essential version too.

I took 3 test shots-using all 3 raw formats and processed each in DxO PureRAW 3 without issues. The test shots were all at ISO 22500 and the results show no remaining noise. Really amazing.

I'm not quite sold on the interface. I like Toapz's interface better where I can see the before and after side by side to see how much detail is lost and look for any artifacts.

Mike,
I put the originals (NEF files) and the DxO PureRAW 3 processed (DNG files) in my DropBox account. No other processing was done. You should be able to download all to you computer and pixel peep.

There is a 30 day free trial, which I DL'd last night. I've heard good things about the product, so interested to see how it stacks up against Topaz that I already own.

I've been using DxO Pure Raw vI for a couple of years and recently downloaded vIII trial. While vIII is better than vI, both do a very credible job at removing noise. In fact, I've gotten to the point that I don't worry very much about what ISO I shoot at since I know that I can remove it in post.
