In Poland, paczki are eaten especially on Fat Thursday (Tlusty Czwartek), the last Thursday prior to Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent.

In North America, particularly the large Polish communities of Chicago, Detroit, Milwaukee, and other large cities across the Midwest and Northeast, Paczki Day is celebrated annually by immigrants and locals alike.

The question, Paul is whether you rewarded yourself for the Hustle with a pazcki? Nice way to demonstrate the qualities of a Canon pocket camera. My first digital camera was a Canon Elph. It was what convinced me to go digital after many years of 35mm film.

Thank you whfowle! I was back to the Jewel on Thursday after Ash Wednesday, thinking there'd be discounted Paczki boxes. None to be found. I have one last raspberry-filled frozen for future enjoyment. I have a weakness for sweats, so I mostly don't allow this kind of stuff inside the condo door anymore.
I've been shooting the GX9II a bit more of late. The same shots of food on the counter come out better with the larger cameras, but I need a flash and tripod, and just more overall effort. It's just easier with the pocket model.
