Pale corydalis

Pale corydalis - Capnoides sempervirens - native to the Great Lakes, New England and at elevation in the Appalachians, also known as "Rock harlequin." It is in the Poppy family, the Fumitory tribe, and it is the only species in the genus Capnoides. It was formerly placed in the Corydalis genus, hence the common name.
From the Michigan Flora website:
"At home on rock ledges and summits, gravelly shores, and piney savanna, but more often to be expected 1–2 years after disturbance along roadsides, clearings, trails, gravel or sand pits, etc., dying out after about another two years if conditions are stable."
