Hi new to the forum already made a couple posts though, I live in
Colorado. My main focus is birds and wildlife. I use a nikon z7ii I have one z lens the 100-400mm my other lens are f mount and i use with the ftz converter. I use Lightroom for my post processing and always shoot raw and in manual. I have been shooting for about 8-10 years and I am self taught. I am always up for suggestions as in how to improve my shooting as I’m the first to admit there is a lot i dont know.
I think you will like it here.

It sounds and looks like you have a good approach. I saw your macros of bugs. GREAT STUFF!
I'm mostly self taught as well. I've been doing serious photography since 1968 in middle school, and worked as a project manager and specialist for three of the largest photo companies in the USA from '79 to '12.
You'll find everyone from blind novices to folks with masters degrees in photography here. There is an extremely wide range of interests and skill levels and knowledge levels. It's the Internet, so OF COURSE, there are the usual trolls and jerks and snide satirists and crotchety old farts who love to opine about the good old days. But there are also plenty of regular folks just willing to help. Dive in and have fun!

No, not yet, but I will in April. I need to pay off my Z 50mm MC first.
