Nice rocks Larry!! Thanks for hosting!
I was at a regional track meet all day yesterday, trying to photograph in horrible gym light. A little intimidating when you see photographers with their tripods and humungous lenses, but I managed to get some (ISO was 20,000, if I remember correctly) So proud of grandson and his team mates. So were the coaches. They were 7th in the 4X100 relay. Micah started the meet seeded #13 in the mile and ended seeded #11. The coach invited me to the team banquet this week (will be a surprise to my grandson). He doesnt know it but he is getting an award in something.
Grabdson and team mates He's in front 2nd from right
Relay team and coaches.

Congratulations to Micah and his team mates and coaches. Very nice images at 20,000 iso I’d say. I know what you mean about “lens envy”! Our grand daughter was the Colonel of her HS dance team for 2 years so we went to a number of football games games just just for the half time show. I couldn’t believe the size of some of the lenses mounted on monopods with little bitty cameras attached. Ok the cameras were the same size as mine, but they looked mighty small hanging off the back of some of the lenses.
