Google tells us that the word COZY is an adjective referring to “anything that gives us a feeling of comfort, warmth, or relaxation.”
In this week’s challenge, show us what “cozy” is for you!
Wonderful examples of "cozy" for you. "Winter" particularly speaks to me though, both because of the beautiful portrait and your story. One of my very good friends lives in a neighborhood with a dog that comes my everyday for yum yums. And when we visit/stay in their cabin across the street, "Charlie" comes by their too. And...he always gets a dog biscuit that is in the cupboard just for him.
All look mighty cozy, Joe. Thank you for hosting another challenge. Is that a Victrolla record player❓. I had a whole lot of cozy feelings while looking through our archives of snap shots to scan and Dad’s Marine photo album. And the day of the funeral as we celebrated his life with all the living relatives was made especially cozy as we visited with all at our hotel’s breakfast area as the softest, fluffiest snow drifted slowly down…..
Wonderful commentary and picture that makes one feel the warm coziness.
...Cozy, when it is cold outside. I took this photo in a rural house, in February 2021, during a winter vacation in Saint-Laurent-de-L'Île-d'Orléans (province of Québec, Canada). Photo: Pierre Bouillon.
All look very cozy to me too. Your dining room floor reminds me of a floor in an absolutely beautifully kept old home in my home town. It was the only place that I'd seen original 2x12"s (or there abouts) on floors. They were throughout many of the rooms and I thought they were beautiful. They weren't finished like yours but so stout and old. That home was cozy too.

We have wide pine floors in 4 rooms. In 2 rooms they are the original floors - they were covered with asbestos tile and pretty torn up on one side, so my husband flipped them over and after sanding, they were beautiful.
