When the problem occurred at a Tx A&M student and faculty campus, they were forced to disassemble the light switch on the steering column and reinstall it on the floorboard.
They kept getting their feet caught in the steering wheel............
Yeah, and once you get your foot stuck in the steering wheel, it becomes almost impossible to control the car.
Remember when cars had the starter button under the clutch pedal? That was a good idea. I don't remember what kind of car it was; I was too young. A 1938 Olds, maybe. Yes! That was it. What a memory!
