Great shot ! - I would do a square crop lower left justified ......thanks for sharing

Yes, this one is a tough one for me to make a choice. I typically have problems with birds that present themselves horizontally like this one.

Okay, I'm going to have to hang up my cameras, I guess! I see NO difference between all three photos!! Certainly nothing to obsess about!!??

Not sure if obsessed is the word I would choose, but it is part of the fun (to me) to try to come up with the image that pleases me (and my wife) the most. Certainly the final choice is mine, but I also enjoy getting other's opinions. Sometimes others see things I have completely overlooked. This thread has provided me with some definite food for thought about this image.

Love how the color of the bokeh in the background mimics the color of the bird.

I agree. Unfortunately that is what got me in "trouble" in the first place-I wanted to keep the OOF flowers in the shot.

I like them both but am leaning towards the first as it pleases my eyes better. The question should be which one do you prefer??? Your opinion should be what matters most. Great shot.

Oh you are correct about that. As I have stated earlier, horizontal birds present some problems for me deciding on crop and presentation. I enjoy the process a great deal and getting other opinions usually helps me (although I will admit, sometimes in only confuses me).

Your #3 re-do works best for me.
