Photographer Catches the Rainbow-Prism Effect of Sunlight Passing Through Hummingbirds' Wings

Being a card-carrying nerd from way back, I have a comment. My comment has nothing to do with the photo, which is great, but with the title. In my opinion the colors are not due to a prism, but to interference. A lot of the colors in feathers and insect wings are caused by interference, basically because of structure in the wing or feather that is physically on the scale of the wavelength of light.
The error is not on the part of the OP, but is contained in the article referenced, which refers to the title of the work which presumably was applied by the artist.

Interesting comment. I recently read that bluebirds feathers are not blue but brown. Something to do with light reflection. They sure look blue to me!
