I was in the hospital for two nights a couple weeks ago - they said it was the pneumonia. They won't let you get out of bed without calling somebody for help. If you got out of bed a super loud alarm would go off. You had to ask permission to go to the bathroom - which I found annoying.
But back to the mouse thing. I had my laptop with me. I called the nurse to my room because there was a mouse on the floor. I didn't tell them it was my computer mouse. I dropped it. The guy who showed up thought it was kind of funny and had to report it was only a computer mouse. And, yes, I use a mouse with a laptop. Never cared for the finger thing.

Mice here are like the "Snow Birds" and they find our pantry a welcome place to overwinter. I use a "TomCat Live Mouse Trap" with a dab of peanut butter in the back to catch them. When I catch one, I relocate it along the woodline to seek its fortunes elsewhere.

I use a mouse with my laptop, as well. I also use a mouse and keyboard with my iPad, too.

Every time I have a rodent problem, I call Victor.
