If we are cultivating and harvesting wheat in this country why is the price now more expensive than ever? It is not coming from Ukraine, right?
Could be inflation due to the high cost of fuel?

Incidentally, very beautiful images.

It is the high cost of everything farm related--fuel, machinery, seed, fertilizer, you name it. These costs have basically put the little guys out of business.

I can attest to the high cost of farming. When farmers have a good year (like last year), all the supply companies double their prices for the following year! My fertilizer costs for this year were double those of last year. Seed prices increased substantially. So even though I made the same gross amount as last year, my net is a LOT less!
