I'm aware of several ways to 'bring' photos from iPhone into Lr Classic. Right now I have settled on AirDrop iPhone to Mac. My process is
1. select iPhone images and select AirDrop to the download folder
2. on Mac - select all images and drag them to a folder in Pictures>Transfer (where all my new imported photos reside)
3. I now import those images by selecting Synchronize Folder and 'Add' them to Lr
4. I vet those photos and PP ... exporting the Jpegs to a folder on Desktop for sharing
Right or wrong this works but seems overly 'manual'
Please rip it apart and suggest options
Thanks
I also will follow the thread on this. I do not mirror my phone to my MacBook because I do not want to fill up my hard drive with thousands of photos. My LR catalogs are on an external hard drive. I am looking to get select iPhone photos into lightroom without having to email them to myself. This sounds like a good work around. Looking to hear what others do.
I simply plug my Iphone into the computer and import the photos into Lightroom just as you would with an SD Card
