Grand Canyon West - Blackbirds

As you can see in my landscape posts, my visit to Grand Canyon West was in harsh light. Combined with the dark shadows produced by that light, the attached set took some post processing to bring out the detail.

These birds are all over and the tourists are not discouraged from feeding them. They are used to people and can be approached. The last shot is of the airport watch birds.

Kudos to the birds for naturally being so beautiful, but major props to you for bringing that beauty up from the shadows to where it is awesomely stunning - without being excessive in any way 🖤🖤🖤🖤👀
