My wife and I are heading to Las Vegas for our 30th wedding anniversary, we married at the "Chapel of the Bells".

We will be there December 11th through the 15th. I am looking for must see/photograph locations, thanks for any tips.

I recommend the Big Bus hop on hop off bus tour, both day and night tours. They'll take you through the whole city, saving you lots of steps....

Take the (paid) elevator to the top of Paris. There is an observation deck with holes in the fence for cameras. You look over the entire city and directly down on the Bellagio fountains. Do at dusk and stay til dark when all lights come on. Same idea for Stratosphere observation deck, but more north of the strip - looking back at the entire thing. I think it was $15 to go up there. Again, we timed for sunset and stayed til dark. Bellagio has beautiful ceiling art and flower displays all indoors. Wynn also has beautiful displays indoors. Have fun and Happy Anniversary!

Can't go wrong on Fremont Street. The canopy is a must see. We always stay at the Golden Nugget.

Hoover dam is very close.
Also, depending upon your budget there are photo flights over the Grand Canyon from LV.
Not sure what else you have planned or what transportation you have but for photos different from the millions of me too ones go north.
Take 2 days and explore Virginia City and Carson city. Mark Twains house he stayed in is in Carson city, he worked in Virginia city and both are absolutely amazing places.
Just saying if you truly want some amazing photos different from the tourist me too photos that everyone has seen a million times.
PS, I lived in Reno but had my second office in LV and spent 3-4 days a week there.

The big Ferris wheel is fun at night, though photography is not as good.

I have been to 'Lost Wages' many times as I reside in Phoenix. I was at 'Mandalay Bay' three weeks ago to see 'Santana' perform at 'The House of Blues'. In 'Mandalay Bay' go to the 'Foundation Room' which is actually a bar on the 64th Floor. It has an outdoor patio, but that is usually wall to wall people. From that vantage point, you can get a beautiful picture of the strip at night. Forget about a tripod, security probably won't let you on their private elevator with it. Also, forget a big telephoto lens for the same reason. I was there last month and about one year earlier, and that patio is always packed. My photos are on my wife's cell phone and although they are good memories, they are not show worthy so I won't present them here. But you will enjoy the view and beverage.

Also, be sure to dress somewhat classy. They would not let me on the elevator in September 2021 with short pants and sandals. Must have long pants, shoes and somewhat dressy shirt and/or sport coat. For women, the dress code is somewhat more lenient, some of the younger women were not wearing that much at all, revealing a considerable portion of their 'girls'. But after all, "It IS Vegas, baby."

I second the motion regarding the 'Bellagio' seen from the 'Eiffel Tower' and 'Fremont Street'. That is a human zoo. One thing that surprised me is the ubiquitous fragrance of marijuana on 'Fremont Street'. If you stay in certain locations, you may get close to a 'secondhand smoke high'. Although there are many signs telling people to not use it, those signs were largely ignored. The fragrance is unmistakable and as I said, ubiquitous. You almost have to go indoors to get fresh air.

Have a very 'Happy Anniversary' and enjoy your trip.
