This is Melissa in the dressing room/office texting someone or checking her phone for something, she's supposed to be finding wardrobe for the nest part of our shoot. One thing that I've learned about young girls is that their phones are like oxygen to them, don't get between them and their phones.

I like this shot because it shows a beautiful young lady with her guard down, totally at ease. It was a common thing to have girls strolling the studio and environs nude or dressed like this. Ah, what a life, yeah?

It also shows how half of my office looked at one time. I had a habit of rearranging it for no reason, but in this ideation you can see the dressing part of it and the very large windows that wrapped the room from corner to corner and how the opened to allow the warm summer air to waft in. it was a challenge to keep it warm in the winter, but we had a huge Modine in the studio area and a couple of small space heaters in the dressing room. I could keep it around 78 - 80 when it was zero outside. This was no cheap plywood studio, I spent uncounted hours building and improving it over the years that I was there. When I first rented the space it was nothing but a large empty dirty cold single room. I wonder how much money I spent turning it into a working studio?? I think it was one of the nicest studios in Milwaukee for a few years. Tore my heart out to leave it.

Anyway, nevermind. Melissa,

Great studio and I hope this is going to be the future evolution of the mini-skirt.

Just curious, as a long time Milwaukee resident. I'm guessing this was in the Riverwest area???

OK. I worked on Lincoln and KK for many years. Above KK S&L, now deceased.
