“There’s no emergency” – dissident climatologist Dr Judith Curry on c*****e c****e
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YBdmppcfixM "There are particular fields in which those that stray from the official narrative are instantly shunned as dissidents. C*****e c****e is one of these. Dr Judith Curry, Professor Emeritus and former chair of the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the Georgia Institute of Technology, has become known as one of the outspoken scientists who doubt the “scientific consensus” on c*****e c****e. As a result, she was “academically, pretty much finished off” and “essentially unhirable”. However, this didn’t slow down the bold climatologist. BizNews spoke to Curry about her views on c*****e c****e and the impact that human beings have had on the planet. A delightfully fascinating discussion ensued in which Curry explained her objection to the “manufactured consensus of scientists at the request of policy makers” and how far reality really is from the grim picture painted by environmental activists. Curry made sense of recent e*****e w*****r events and indicated that “Earth has survived far bigger insults than what human beings are doing”. An eye-opening interview."
This onlooker sees the adoption of the news media workers of the term "climate" to apply generally to talk of unusual weather events.
This term functions as a shorthand for supposed human-induced c*****e c****e for the worse.
This telescoping bypasses the requirement of linking a given event to the source or cause of it. As an example, these workers presume the present long drought in the Western territory of the America as proof of the theory of human-induced c*****e c****e.
Here we have a more sober view of the variables involved with c*****e c****e:
"To be sure, calculating climate risk depends on a dizzying number of factors, including luck, latitude, elevation, the upkeep of infrastructure, long-term climate patterns, the predictable behavior of the jet stream and how warming ocean waters will affect the frequency of El Nino/La Nina cycles."

A news media worker in turn refers to the observed change as early evidence of the looming disaster
I still wonder if we were here at the beginning of the end of the ice age the panic that would ensue by the democrats.

That is not an unbiased article you quote. The main thrust is still the assumption of 'dangerous human-caused c*****e c****e' on the environment and not the possibility of natural climate variability or the proper stewardship of forests and water resources.

Dr.Judith Curry is great. She is one of the few modern day Galileos challenging the political science of "G****l W*****g" flat earthers.

Everyone should listen to this.
Good evening. As I read the material coming out regarding the current c*****e c****e, most of it ignores "natural climate variability" for its potential to effect such change.

I'm still amazed that anyone considers "consensus" as legitimate science. M. Claude Bernard was correct, when he stated that "Science teaches us to doubt". True then, true now.
You can always find someone who supports a point you want substantiated by "expert testimony". Consider "Expert Testimony" for a defense attorney.

Not a joke. Periods between ice ages tend to run around 10-15K years. We're at about 10K years in the current cycle.
