Considering the size and price of the Z9, I'm surprised to see so many YouTubers devoting so much attention to it. I suppose they covered less expensive models, too, but this $6,000 camera is getting a lot of time on YouTube. Maybe it's like car magazines doing tests of cars cost $250,000, rather than cars that most people buy - the appeal of the exotic. Although I might read a road test of a Lamborghini, I haven't looked at any YT videos about cameras that don't impact my life.

It is the release Nikon needed to get back to their seat at the big boys table. It is arguably the best digital camera Nikon has ever released, certainly its best fullframe mirrorless camera, a true flagship camera for Nikon.
There are still tons of Nikon users and fans around the world, so it makes sense for youtubers to give the Z9 its time in the spotlight. It was no different for many months following when the Canon R3 first came out or when the Sony A1 first came out .
Cheers and best to you.
There may be many YouTube videos about the Nikon Z9, however, there are also many YouTube videos of idiots eating hot peppers and sauces. Which would you be more likely to watch?
Perhaps they are covering it because the camera is finally making its way into the the hands of sub-elite photogroahers and it is just that good! It's a flashback to the D850 release. Next will be the hurry and wait for the Z8. That should be more affordable and may have some surprise bells and whistles and more inline with the D850 goodness except in mirrorless flavor.
As an owner, I'm not surprised at all. Lots to it, and many new owners makes for der fodder...what cracks me up is all the Z9 threads around here started by non-owners. ;0)

z9 are still selling like wild fire. You tubers are trying to cash in on that craze. The more subs and views they get the more money they make.
