Thanks for posting these images of the Valley of Fire. I grew up in Las Vegas and my parents were rock hounds. We spent a lot of time in the Valley of Fire. My parents had a friend named Bert Murphey that grew up in St. Thomas, which was under Lake Mead when I was a boy. He had many stories about riding horses threw the Valley of Fire and showed us many places where you could find water and other cool things.
