Kinda forgetting the 426 Hemi Chargers ain't ya,
By 1974 there was no longer a "Hemi Charger", just a whimpering 318 or 360 if my memory serves me correctly!

I was certified through ASE for awhile. It was kind of a joke. About the only benefit I could see was the possibility of using the credentials to find another job......most likely one that never paid much better than the last one.
The only reason I did it was the company paid me $100 to take the test plus $100 for every test I passed, that was $800 every year for a couple hours of answering multiple guess questions.
Nice image, I can't speak of the quality of this Charger though.
If we're hijacking the thread, 1971 was the last year one could buy the hemi in a conventional car. 1978 was the end of the 440. I think the 400 died in 1979 or when the last big car was built, that is other than the Aspen/Volare. I didn't bother to look up what was the largest engine offered in the 74 Charger, my guess would be the 400. By then the 440 was the only engine in the RB series, and only in big cars and things like motorhomes.
Beats a shade tree mechanic.

Everything went in the crapper, 1970 and 1971, for all US makes. Nothing worth getting excited about after that, no real collector grade stuff. You can thank Uncle Sam for that.
