Do You Know Him

There are websites that generate face photos that are produced by AI and that person does not exist in real life. Such as https://generated.photos/faces. So, I thought i would give it a try. I didn't go to crazy, but more to see if I could change his look a bit.
I changed his eye shape and color. New nose, and lower lip and soul patch.

So you let it generate a face then changed that to suit, is that what you mean Frank?

In a decade the next step is generated description and genetic engineering.
Thank you for the link: so many discuss and fail to give links.

OK Frank, I’ve taken Don’s hint and looked at the link! So you actually start with a page full of faces (all AI generated) then alter that the way you want it, that could be useful! I’ve seen something similar on Piximperfect where Unmesh created his ideal girlfriend - I guess you know he’s a good looking fella, so you can guess the girlfriend was likewise! Everything seems to be going AI. No use fighting it. The ‘novelty’ element will tone down in due course and it will slip into line somewhere as part of the ‘creative’ possibilities that lie twix fine art and photography I reckon.

I originally was going to just take a face shape and then add all the features. But I changed my mind and took a “ finished” face and changed some features. I didn’t go crazy just made subtle changes. More of an exercise than a wall hanger.

The link is what triggered me to give it a try.

For this exercise I didn’t use any of the AI’s creation. I just used the good old internet for my “creation. I did run across that site you pick and choose each feature.

yup. And this chap started out looking pretty good. But a nose and lip job were just enough to knock him down a peg or two.
