I began my trip last week by driving along I-15 toward Las Vegas. I took a shot to show what I was leaving in Utah and then a couple of shots of the drive through the Virgin Gorge in Arizona.
The bulk of this set is my arrival and entry into Red Rock Canyon and the scenic drive. Red Rock Canyon was very welcoming to an old Army retiree because they gave me a lifetime pass for free.
I arrived as the sun was setting, so some shots had great light and others were into a setting sun (in the next post).
Comments and suggestions are welcome.

Thanks, John, I had Marriott points to use, so I stayed downtown, but this set was shot as I drove into town. The sun was setting, so I just shot hand held.
