My studio (WirtzWorld Studio) had 3 distinct sections. There was a low key area approximately 28 x 35 ish with a black cove; y'all have seen many shots made there. Also, and just next to it was a high key area of about the same size, that most of the time had a white linen back drop on a crank up and down holder on which I could put different color backgrounds if I wanted to. And a dressing room/office. Let's have a look at some of my models in the dressing room, applying their make-up or doing fun posing or just standing by the window.

This first offering is Heidi. Those of you familiar with my work know Heidi as one of my favorite people (really, I love like 95% of my models). She is a little lamb who wanted to try her hand at modelling. I was thrilled to shoot her and she was thrilled to get nude for my camera. She is now something of an activist for feminism and disability or mental health - something like that. All worthwhile pursuits, yeah??

Anyway, here she is getting ready for one of our shoots.

Great shots, the first I just think is a classic. The tone, the "voyeuristic" view of the model, the hidden face, the clock, brick wall, tea cup and books are all just perfectly positioned and blurred to all come together vs the sharp in-focus nipple ring. And of course I will toss in a slight criticism, maybe Photoshop out the antennae coming out her head.

Ya, you’re right about that antenna. I totally overlooked it. Ooh, that’s a bad rookie mistake.

Now that’s that. Nobody else is allowed to say get the fockin’ antenna out. I know I focked that up.

Be happy to remove the antenna for you if you don't have the software...

DOF is quite pleasing here, though it is a snapshot for sure. The tones are lovely and the lighting nice- her neck is beautiful, jaw etc. ... look at what works in this shot and can't wait to see what you come up with.

If you take offense at the retouch I am attaching- I will happily remove it, I was curious for myself how it would Look without some distracting elements.

I’d rather process on my own. In the spirit of photographic harmony and worldwide peace, thanks for demonstrating this technique. If you have been tuned to this station for a while, you should know that I’m a completely capable post-processor and I do have all of the necessary software. My oversight was a fumble in the end zone, but I would have eventually gotten around to fixing it.

Again, in the shadow of friendship that I truly feel here, please point out my mistakes but let me do the corrections.

And one more thing if it’s okay, the depth of field was no coincidence and this wasn’t a snapshot. I take snapshots with my phone at the zoo or with my grandchildren, not with my models. True, I have many outtakes, but there are no accidental backgrounds. These dressing room scenes are something that I’ve done with many of my models, they are included with the shoot - no extra charge.
