When you find a good subject - work the scene.

I'll make no apologies for posting another photo of this spot. I put a lot of time and effort into working this scene and getting various shots from various angles and elevations. And I've still not exhausted the possibilities...

No apologies necessary. Having visited Scotland several times what with all the beautiful scenery you can't take too many pictures of the same scene.

I have done Mt Rainier, Mount St Helens and Crater Lake that way; the light changes, the perspective changes, the weather is in flux, you have to be ready. The Grand Canyon also comes to mind, you want to be there for both sunrise and sunset. Now that I am into time lapse video, even more so.
