From idea, to paper, to instrument, to record was my thinking for this composite. I the images on Pexels to work into the composite. I liked the soft graduated focus in the record player image, my problem was maintaining the softness while merging with the sheet music and instrument. I used the new Neural filter in Photoshop to colorize Pixels Black & white record player.
Basic process was
1) open the record player image. This set my size for the final image.
2) added the the sheet music and instrument image also downloaded from Pixel.
3) moved the Record player image to bottom layer
3) Used the transform tool two size image
4) Made a duplicate record player layer and made a black mask. (Layer 4)
5) on layer 3 first record player set the layer to multiply.
6) now on the duplicate record player I opened some of the parts that weren't solid enough this layer is set to normal
Did some additional Surface Blur, Hue/Saturation along with camera raw adjustments to fine toon the images. Used Topaz studio to frame image.

Excellent for multi reasons Jim-Pops, you have combined music, music, and music
Winner winner chicken dinner. Nicely done. At first I thought the size of the composite didn’t work. But the longer I looked at it the more I came to like it.
