M33 with refractor

I finally received the correct parts for a new focuser for my 5 inch refractor. The old one was not very sturdy and would not hold the camera with a filter wheel and offaxis guider steady. Below are the first images taken using this new focuser with the refractor at a focal length of 952mm. I chose M33 as the target to compare the images to those taken of M33 with my of my Schmidt Cassegrain with a 4000mm focal length where the galaxy didn't completely fit into its field of view.
(See https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-714994-1.html for those previous images). The images taken with the refractor don't have as much detail but do show the entire galaxy even after cropping the image down a bit to avoid the corners of the image were the stars show some elongation. I'm working on an adapter to be able to use the focal reducer/field corrector with this setup which should reduce the star elongation. All questions, comments and suggestions are welcome.

The first image used LRGB filters with the monochrome camera to create the photo.
The second image added HA data to both the Luminance and Red channel.

All images were taken a -12C using 1x1 binning with the gain set to 100 on the ASI 6200mm pro camera.

The following exposures were used
Luminance - 95 exposures at 2 minutes each
Red - 45 exposures at 4 minutes each
Green - 49 exposures at 4 minutes each
Blue - 50 exposures at 4 minutes each
Ha - 78 exposures at 500 seconds each

A couple of nice images BUT I'm wondering why you went with such a black background? The sky is never totally black. Just curious?

Hi bwa
Thanks for checking out the images of M33 and for the comment
I took these while the moon was in the wanning gibbous phase and the contrast of the galaxy was low, so I tried to up the contrast to bring out the galaxy a bit more which did darken the sky a lot.
