I got to experience the truck pull competition at this year's Columbiana County fair - totally cool with noise and black smoke spewing from the trucks! The last shot is of the afternoon sun shining through all the exhaust and dust pollution - the EPA would NOT be amused!
I saw tractor, modified tractor, turbo tractor, and big rig pulls for the first time. Really something. Especially appreciated the oldies from as far back as 1930s - some restored and some "original". I think my motor/tractor/rig savy grandson was getting a bit tired of all my questions!

Oh, he enjoyed his! We each had an order of five of the things - I finished mine but the novelty wore off at #3. Now, a deep fried Snickers bar might be different but I have to go back to Scotland for one of those!
