Headed to Egypt in a few months. Any travel advice? I’m pretty set on gear. But other issues ?

Carry with you a product called DiaRescue which you can purchase on Amazon. Hundreds of 5 star trip saving reviews. It sure saved me and allowed me to catch my flight home. And some Zofran from your physician. Take it with the DiaRescue.
Good walking shoes. No fancy clothes or jewelry. Don’t walk alone in sketchy areas. Give a bit of American money to any interesting person who wants to pose for a portrait.
I loved Egypt. I would go back in a minute.

You can use ATM to withdraw current spot price in Egyptian pounds. Smaller shops sometimes don't take dollars if you need a bottle of water, pkg of snacks, etc. Do not take photos at any police check points. Do not accept anything from vendors into your hand, some view that as a sale and won't take it back from you.
But most of all enjoy your trip, walking & experiencing where people have walked for 5,000 years. Been there 3 times (last 2019), visiting different parts, can't wait for one more trip in 2023.

DiaResQ; Bovine (cow) colostrum, egg solids, silicon dioxide, vanilla flavor, sucralose.
So it has some milk protein, egg protein, dirt, vanilla, and an artificial sweetener. I'll be taking my Imodium, thanks.

We've been back for a few months...no issues at all. And we liked the food generally.
